USES FOR BAKING SODA
INGREDIENTS
Make Your Own Floor Cleaner
There are a variety of recipes for homemade floor cleaners. You can pick up a gallon of distilled white vinegar pretty cheaply at the big box stores.
Vinegar and Water (for linoleum, wood, laminate, and tile)
- 1/2 to 1 cup distilled white vinegar (lesser amount for wood floors)
- 1/2 gallon of warm water
Dish soap (for linoleum)
- 1/4 cup liquid dish soap
- 2 cups vinegar
- 2 cups water
Rubbing Alcohol
- 1 cup rubbing alcohol
- 1 quart warm water
Baby Shampoo
- 2 tsp baby shampoo
- 1 gallon warm water
Washing Soda (for painted wood floors)
- 1 tsp washing soda
- 1 gallon warm water
Stuck with Black Heel Marks?
Wash them off with a paste of baking soda and water.
Crayon
Wipe with a damp cloth that has a squirt of toothpaste on it.
