Baking Soda
Baking soda makes a nice non-abrasive cleaner. Just mix with a bit of water for a paste and use it to clean refrigerators, freezers, as well as most chrome and porcelain sufraces. Do not use it on aluminum cookware though.
You can also use it to clean and deodarize thermoses and lunch boxes. It makes a nice wall cleaner as well.
If there's a grease fire in your kitchen, dump liberal amounts of baking soda on it to put out the flames.
Avoid: Aluminum cookware
